The #sobagrip is a comfort grip for Apple Pencil 1st and 2nd Generation.
The new 2nd Gen Apple Pencil can only be charged and paired by magnetically snapping to the iPad Pro. This makes all other grips obsolete! My solution is the channel which allows the pencil to be charged even with the grip still on it! The channel is wide enough to be compatible with the Apple iPad Pro smart cover. (Should you use a different brand of cover, the #sobagrip can be EASILY removed for charging. Easy on, Easy off!)
The 2nd Gen Apple Pencil has a double tap feature to quickly switch between brushes. The scoop in the front end of the #sobagrip allows for this function.
Made from firm rubber, the grip is very comfortable for long drawing sessions.
The #sobagrip is 100% made in Michigan!!

Cleverly Designed Solution
The Apple Pencil 2 is quite well designed if you just want the thin pen style but if you want full grip option it presents some challenges considering it’s magnetic charging and touch button features. The SOBA grip smartly works around the limitations presented by its initial design. I have a case on my iPad Pro and this fits nicely around it!

Great for long draw days
Let’s start with the grip. Soba really knock this one out of the park. It’s super comfy for drawing for extended hours. And being able to connect it to your iPad to charge without having to take it off as a godsend. I really cannot recommend it more. It was also quite hard to find, and lead to me making my first order from electrum. Now onto electrum. I’ve been enjoying their podcast for a while now. And king pin up until recently had taken very good care of me, however recently I have been writing them reviews and emails calling them cam. This led to me looking for a new supplier, and I figured I would do this $12 deal to see what electrum was really like. To be fair I personally wouldn’t give a shit about a $12 order if I was a tattoo supplier. Which is why this was perfect. And they knocked it out of the park. Although they may not have everything I use I intend to use them as my primary provider as much as possible for tattoo supplies. They are real tattooers they understand what real tattooers want and I get your shit to you on time. I can’t think them enough and I’m looking forward to giving them all of my business as opposed to some of the other guys. Thanks electrum and soba. Now buy one of these fuckers, fucker!

Wonderful grip and great service
This grip is perfect for me. It feels similar to my machines and helps cut down on sketch cramps. Better yet it fits over the slim case my ipad air 4 lives in so I don't have to take it off to charge. It's always nice to be able to support a US based mfg as well. Also, the shipment was lightning fast, featured a dope sticker and hand written notes 10/10
